White Sulphur Springs - Tuesday was moving day at the 106th WV Amateur Championship on the Meadows Course at The Greenbrier.

Owen Elliott and Cam Roam did just that, taking over the top spot at 7-under par, six shots clear of the field.

The final round will be played Wednesday on The Old White Course.

Elliott continued his steady play by firing a 2-under par round, while Roam recorded one of the lowest rounds of the day at 4-under 66 to surge to the top.

Second round leader Noah Mullens stumbled Tuesday with a 75, dropping him to 1-under par for the tournament.

Mullens joins a group of four players at 1-under par including Carson Higginbotham who tied Roam for the low round of the day.

First round leader Brian Anania is also in that group along with White Sulphur Springs native Nick Dent.

Dent moved into red figures for the tournament with a solid round of 68 and leads the tournament in birdies with 15 over the three days.

Four-time Mountain State Golf Classic Champion Davey Jude also recorded a round of 1-under par and moved into the top-15 for the tournament.

Former Shady Spring golfer Tanner Vest is holding steady after a second straight 74 and is tied with Jude.

The top-25 finishers in the 2025 event will receive a qualifying exemption for the 107th WV Amateur Championship in 2026.
