Woodrow Wilson lineman Drake Bowling signs with Marietta College

Woodrow Wilson lineman Drake Bowling signed a National Letter of Intent Thursday to plays football with Marietta College (Ohio) in the fall.

Bowling was a standout offensive lineman his second year before injuries moved him to the defensive side of the ball where he also was a key part of a staunch Flying Eagle defense.

The Pioneers are coming off of an 8-3 record and were 7-2 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. Marietta had three players named named to the D3football.com All-America team last year.

Bowling talked about his decision to play at the next level.

Beckley football head coach Street Sarrett also gave his thoughts on his standout lineman.
