Class A Region 3, Section 2 Softball: Greenbrier West rolls past Webster County

Greenbrier West tallied nine extra base hits in a 15-hit attack to run roughshod over Webster County, 21-0 in five innings Tuesday in Class A Region 3, Section 2 play.

Brilee Redden was a dual threat pitching a perfect game with 12 strikeouts, while hitting two doubles along with her ninth home run of the season.

Potomac State softball commit Maddie Fields was 4-for-4 with three doubles and a triple, while fellow-senior Preslee Treadway added two hits, including a triple and two RBI.

Kyndall Taylor and Brooke Patterson each had three RBI. Diana Porter had a double and one RBI.

Redden, Treadway and Fields all hit career milestones Tuesday in the win. Redden and Fields reached 100 hits for their careers, while Treadway reached 100 hits and 100 RBI for her career.
