HS Baseball: Moore and Williams lead Indy past Hoover

Elkview - Independence freshman Chance Moore pitched 5 1/3 innings, scattering five hits, and sophomore Degan Williams slammed the door to send Independence past Herbert Hoover, 2-0 Saturday.

Cole Cunningham blasted a solo home run in the fourth inning for all the run support his pitchers needed against its regional rival.

Williams, Levi Barnett, Hunter Milam, Allen Coalson and Justin Williams each had one hit for the Patriots.
