Shady Spring 10, Independence 2
Shady Spring - The home-standing Tigers scored four runs in the first inning and rolled to a 10-2 win over county and regional rival Independence Wednesday night.
Freshman Cutter Boggs had three hits, including a double, and drove in three runs, while Brody Seabolt had three hits and two RBI to lead the Tigers (7-7).
Aiden Calvert had a double, a single and one RBI. Noah Fox and Bluefield College commit Kayden Quesenberry each had two RBI.
Sam Barnett allowed only three hits and fanned eight Patriots to get the win on the hill.
Reid Warden had a double and two RBI for the Patriots (3-10-1) and Cole Cunningham had a double.

James Monroe 7, Princeton 4
Lindside - James Monroe scored three runs across the fifth and sixth innings to pull away from Princeton for a 7-4 win Wednesday.
Peyton Gardinier drove in two runs, while Brycen Parker and Tyson Meadows both had one RBI to lead the Mavericks.
Landon Crane, Evan Wright and Jackson Lester each drove in a run for the Tigers.

Liberty 4, Westside 1
Glen Daniel - Parker Hodges scattered three hits and allowed no earned runs to lead Liberty to a 4-1 win over Westside.
Isaac Davis had a double and drove in two runs for the Raiders, while Brayden Keith had two hits and an RBI. Logan Ellis also had an RBI.

Logan 10, Wyoming East 2
Logan - The Wildcats scored in every inning, but one, and rolled past the Warriors for the second time in less than a week, 10-2 Wednesday.
Ivan Miller had two hits, including a double, and drove in three runs to lead Logan. Landon Hall had two hits for the Wildcats.
Miken Smyth had two hits for Wyoming East and Gaige Cooper had a double and an RBI.

Nicholas County 15, Oak Hill 2 (6 innings)
Oak Hill - The Grizzlies scored five runs in the first inning and went on to cruise past the Red Devils, 15-2 in six innings, collecting 14 hits.
Coleton Hellums had a double, as part of a three-hit night, and two RBI, while Colton Burkhammer collected three hits and drive in a pair of runs.
Caleb Burns had two doubles and an RBI. Ira Mylott had two hits and two RBI as well. Braden Brown collected two hits and one RBI.
Owen Grose had two hits, including a double for Oak Hill.

Greenbrier East 5, PikeView 3
Gardner - Greenbrier East only had four hits, but used three PikeView errors to move past the Panthers 5-3 in a key AAA Region 3 contest.
Zion Detko had a solo home run and a double, while Eli Green drove in three runs to lead the Spartans.
Ashton Cochran added a double and an RBI for East.
Eli Naylor hit a double and had a single for the Panthers (11-3). Trenton Tolliver, Braden Huggins and Landon Bolen each had an RBI. Christian Walters had two hits.

Gilmer County 13, Greenbrier West 3 (5 innings)
Glenville -The Titans put the game away with seven runs in the fourth inning to beat Greenbrier West 13-3 in five innings.
Gilmer County collected 10 hits, including four extra base hits. Kolton Holbert and Jakob Stewart had three hits each. including a double.
Vinson Vaughan had the only hit for the Cavaliers.

Woodrow Wilson 3. Margaretta, Ohio 2
Drew Gallaher had two hits, including the game winning single in the bottom of the seventh inning, to lift Woodrow Wilson past Margaretta, Ohio 3-2 Wednesday.
Tyler Wilhite allowed just four hits and fanned 12 batters to grab the win. Brady Williams had a double and an RBI. Maddex Sims scored the game winning run.
Mason Kromer had a double and an RBI for the visitors.
