HS Cross Country: Shady Spring boys run fourth at XC Festival of Lights meet

Cross Country Festival Under the Lights at Cabell Midland High School

Ona - The Shady Spring boys cross country team had a strong showing at the Cross Country Festival Under the Lights Saturday night running fourth out of 19 of the top Class AAAA and Class AAA teams in the Mountain State.

Ethan Dowdy finished 10th overall, while Logan Malott, David Northrup and Caleb Rose finished inside the top-50 out of 140 runners.

Greenbrier East standout Neena McClintic finished eight overall in the girls race that had a field of 136 runners.

Baylee Garrett and Raelyn Carr both finished in the top-50 for Shady Spring.
