Coach Sarrett discusses the week one win over Washington and the upcoming clash with Greenbrier East

Beckley football hit the ground running, and passing, Friday night in a 41-20 victory over Washington.

The Flying Eagles accumulated over 500 yards of total offense in the win.

Gage Burdette rushed for 176 yards and two scores and Jaheim Miller added 101 more yards. Gage Price threw for 193 yards with the bulk of the air attack going to Preston Clary who had 126 yards. The duo connected on two touchdowns.

Coach Sarrett talked with me Monday about the win and the upcoming battle against longtime rival Greenbrier East Friday.

Beckley has won the last three meetings with the Spartans.
