
HS Football: Greenbrier West slips past Pocahontas County
The Cavaliers stop a two-point conversion by the Warriors late in the game to preserve the win

Greenbrier West made a late defensive stand on a two-point conversion to escape with an 16-14 win over Pocahontas County Friday in Charmco.
Colton Chrisman and Colton Dunbar combined for 45 carries and 238 yards to pace the Cavaliers. Both players scored one touchdown each, while Dunbar converted both two-point conversions for the win.
Greenbrier West controlled the game running 60 plays to 31 for the visitors, out-rushing Pocahontas County 281-140.
The Cavaliers (2-2) travels to Man Friday.
