HS Football: Liberty beats Summers County on Senior Night

Jaxson Workman scores four times to lead the Raiders

Jaxson Workman ran for 167 yards and scored four touchdowns to lead Liberty to a 40-34 win over Summers County Saturday on Senior Night.

Isaac Williams added 54 yards and scored one touchdown, while Landon Lusk had 41 yards.

Workman was also 6-10 for 94 yards, connecting with Colton Tolliver (41) and Chase Shea (63).

Tolliver also scored on a kick-off return to open the second half.

Parker Hodges had two interceptions with one coming at the goal line just before halftime. Trenton Clay led the defense with 13 tackles and Williams had nine.

The rushing effort pushed Workman over 1,000 yards rushing and passing this year.
