Patriots score 41 points in the first quarter to roll past the Panthers

Hico - Midland Trail dedicated the 2025 football season to fallen teammate, Damon Mooney who wore No. 66.

Friday night against Lincoln County, they honored Mooney one more time with a 66-0 win.

Sophomore quarterback Rayce Dickerson tossed three touchdown passes (32, 41, 27) and ran for the final score of the game to lead the Patriots.

Jayden Roop scored on three touchdown runs (27, 2, 30) and Gage Johnson scored on a one-yard plunge.

Jake Ewing intercepted a pass and ran 25-yards for a touchdown, while Dakota Bennett booted a 27-yard field goal.

Midland Trail finishes the season at 9-1 and will open the playoffs at home. Time and opponent are still to be determined.
