HS Football: Midland Trail rolls past Summers County

Hinton - Class AA No. 10 Midland Trail scored 28 points in the second period and rolled past Summers County 41-0 Friday night.

Jayden Roop scored three times on runs of one yard, three yards and 24 yards to lead the Patriots.

Rayce Dickerson tossed two touchdown passes, one each to Xaylen Johns and Riley Dixon.

Cash Barnhouse scored on a six-yard run.

Midland Trail (4-1) hosts Nicholas County Friday night, while Summers County (0-4) will entertain East Hardy.
