
HS Football: Oak Hill rallies for dramatic win over Nicholas County

Oak Hill - Luke Endicott found Carson Treadway for a 40-yard touchdown pass with 1:31 remaining on the clock for a dramatic 21-17 win over Nicholas County Friday night at John P. Duda Stadium.

Devin Nash gave the Grizzlies the initial lead on the first drive of the game with three-yard dive.
Oak Hill answered quickly with a one-yard plunge from quarterback Luke Endicott and took the lead in the second period on a 20-yard pass from Endicott to Antoine Hicks.
Nicholas County evened the game with a 37-yard pass from Coleton Hellems to Lucas Milam later in the quarter and took and took the halftime advantage with a 30-yard Colton Burkhammer field goal.
The visitors held serve most of the second half, but Endicott had one more touchdown pass in his bag of tricks.
Seeing Treadway work his way behind the defenders, Endicott dropped a dime to his senior teammate for the game winner.
Nash had 148 yards on 28 carries, as well 14 tackles and an interception for the Grizzlies
Oak Hill statistics were not available.
Oak Hill hosts Riverside Friday, while Nicholas County will host Chapmanville at Memorial Stadium.
