
HS Football: PikeView defeats Liberty in overtime
Jaxson Workman rushes for four touchdowns for the Raiders, while PikeView totals over 400 yards of total offense

The Panthers moved to 2-0 Friday night with a 38-30 win in overtime against Liberty on the road.
PikeView senior Peyton Mounts had a night rushing for 135 yards and a touchdown to go along with a 79-yard kick return for a score. Mounts also had an interception on defense and a receiving touchdown.
Kyle Williams rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown, while Braden Huggins threw for 95 yards and two touchdowns.

Jaxson Workman led the Raiders with 99 yards on the ground and four touchdowns. The sophomore signal caller was also 15-23 through the air for 132 yards.
Isaac Williams rushed for 136 yards and one touchdown, while Trenton Clay also had a score.
Liberty (0-2) will look to bounce back when it hosts Greenbrier West Friday night. PikeView (2-0) is off Friday before hosting its season opener against Westside the following week.
