HS Football: Princeton scores nine times to defeat Beckley

Brad Mosser scores six times and Chance Barker throws for three scores to lead the Tigers

Princeton 62, Beckley 41

Class AAA No. 2 Princeton scored 27 straight points to break the game open in a 62-41 win over AAAA No. 6 Beckley Friday at Van Meter Stadium.

Brad Mossor had four rushing touchdowns and a 20-yard touchdown pass reception. The senior all-stater also had a momentum shifting 76-yard interception return for a score on the final play of the first half.

Chance Barker threw for 401 yards and three touchdowns including a 99-yard strike to Josiah Campbell for the first score of the game.

Gage Burdette ran for two touchdowns for the Flying Eagles and threw for another. Gage Price had two touchdown passes before leaving with an injury.

Princeton (7-0) hosts AA No. 1 Independence Friday.
