HS Football: Spotlight performers for week 3
Liberty's Jaxson Workman named Player of the Week

Friday night in Glen Daniel, Liberty had yet to hit the must win stage of the football season when it entertained Greenbrier West, but the Raiders were close.
Coming into the contest with an 0-2 record and a trip to Lindside for a battle with James Monroe lurking, the hometown boys really needed a win.
Jaxson Workman was the difference maker.

Rushing for a career high 232 yards, the sophomore quarterback scored three times to lead Liberty to a 27-14 win over the Cavaliers.
Workman also had arguably the biggest play of the night when he opened the second half with a 73-yard touchdown burst after scoring twice in the first quarter.
The effort this past Friday for Workman came on the heels of a four-touchdown night in an overtime setback to PikeView.
For his performance Friday night, Jaxson Workman is the week three, sportswithrusty.com Player of the Week.
