Petersburg 10, Greenbrier West 7

Moorefield - Greenbrier West took a 7-0 lead after two plate appearances, but could not hold off Petersburg who rallied for a 10-7 win at the Bub Riggleman Memorial Tournament at Moorfield High School.

Preslee Treadway had two hits, including a double, and four RBI to pace the Cavaliers. Maddie Fields had a double as part of her two hit night.

Brille Redden, Brooke Patterson and Brooklyn Adkins each had an RBI.

Ella Markwell smacked a homer for the Vikings and had two RBI, while Addie Kitzmiller collected two hits and three RBI. Abigail Nettles had a pair of doubles and an RBI.

GW falls to Petersburg

Oak Hill 14, Capital 1 (5 innings)

Oak Hill 19, Summers County 1 (3 innings)

Oak Hill - The Lady Red Devils grabbed a pair of wins in convincing fashion Saturday afternoon.

Sadie Branch crushed a three-run homer and had a triple to pace Oak Hill to a 14-1 win over Capital in five innings.

Kennedy King and Meeka Miller drove in two runs each, while King and Kinzlee Dove had two hits apiece.

K. K. Smith earned the win striking out eight batters.

After scoring six runs in the first inning against the Bobcats, the Red Devils sent 13 runners home in the second for a 19-0 win.

Mary Butcher allowed just one hit and struckout eight to take the win and also had an RBI.

King had a solo homer and a double to lead the hitters. Peyten Farrell also had a homer and two RBI. Amy Hollandsworth had a double.

Midland Trail 13, Greater Beckley Christian 1 (5 innings)

Midland Trail 11, Cross Lanes Christian 2 (5 innings)

Cross Lanes - Midland Trail snapped a four-game slide with two wins Saturday at Cross Lanes Christian.

The Patriots rolled past Greater Beckley Christian, 13-1 in five innings and dispatched Cross Lanes Christian, 11-2 also in five innings.

Jessi Mooney had two hits, including a double and three RBI to lead Trail in the GBC win. Presley Walker and Kylie Ramsey each had two hits and two RBI.

Midland Trail pounded out 16 hits against Cross Lanes with six players collecting multiple hits in the win.

Walker, Mooney, Madison Rader, Nevaeh Hall, Kyndal Parsons and Ava Campbell each had a two-hit night. Mooney led the attack with four RBI.

Rader, Hall, Abby Parcell and Walker each had a double.
