HS Volleyball: Wyoming East senior Carli Raye has blossomed into one of the state's top performers
Raye has earned All-state honors in both volleyball and softball

Wyoming East senior Carli Raye has earned All-State honors in volleyball and softball.

This year, Raye plans to take her talents to the basketball court as well.
An absolute menace at the net, Raye averaged nearly four kills per set to lead the Warriors in her junior season.
Last year Raye and her teammates qualified for the State Volleyball Tournament for the first time in school history and secured its third straight sectional title.
The focus is now on a return visit to Charleston, but this time advancing to the championship match.
While the state AA scene is a huge test with the likes of Oak Glen and Philip Barbour, advancing out of the regional round will be just as challenging.
The top two teams from Region 3 play will advance to the state tournament which includes James Monroe, Independence, Liberty, Bluefield, Midland Trail, Mingo Central, River View, Summers County and Westside.
The Wyoming East standout talked about her career and the year ahead for her.
