MS Football: Eastern Greenbrier topples Beckley-Stratton
Peyton Ervin runs for 150 yards and one touchdown to lead the Knights

Eastern Greenbrier 16, Beckley-Stratton 8
Eastern Greenbrier scored late in both halves to defeat Beckley-Stratton 16-8 Thursday night at Van Meter Stadium.

With just 15 seconds remaining on the first half clock, the Knights' Levi Hersman hauled in a 10-yard strike from Acen Workman in the far corner of the end zone for the game's initial score.
Workman then found Peyton Ervin for the two point try and an 8-0 halftime lead.
The Bulldogs evened the score on a run from Cameron Davis, but could not find paydirt the rest of the way.
A crucial fourth-quarter stop on downs by the Knights gave them the ball at their own 20-yard line where Ervin made the deciding play of the contest.
Taking a pitch to the right side, Ervin ran past the Beckley-Stratton defense for an 84-yard touchdown with just under 3:30 to play. Ervin finished the night with 150 yards rushing.
Cole Seldomridge caught the two-point try for the final margin.
Eastern Greenbrier (5-0) hosts Bluefield Wednesday.
