Roadrunners bounce back from loss to Beckley-Stratton with a 44-16 win over Wyoming East

Park 44, Wyoming East 16
The Roadrunners raced out to a 28-8 halftime lead and rolled past Wyoming East, 44-16, Wednesday at Bobby Pruitt Stadium.
Zayden Johnson-Hill opened the scoring for Park with a punt return for an 8-0 lead after one quarter.

The Roadrunners then pulled away in the second period with three scores.
Rylan Grubb scored twice in the quarter on a run from 40 yards and a 48-yard pass from Dalton Higginbotham.
Cameron Grubb temporarily halted the home team's momentum when he put the Warriors on the scoreboard with a 22-yard jaunt.
The back-breaker, however, came on the final play of the half when Johnson-Hill scored on a 73-yard pass from Higginbotham.
Tyler Pugalee scored on a one-yard dive before Lenix Lucas scored on a 50-yard burst and a 44-8 lead.
Nathan Laxton added the final score for East on a four-yard run.
Park travels to Trap Hill, Oct. 16.
