Regional Soccer: Beckley blanks Parkersburg South
Hagen Hall scores two goals to pace the Flying Eagles
The Beckley boys soccer team opened its quest for back-to-back state titles with a 4-0 win over Parkersburg South in the AAAA South Regional semifinal match played at Paul Cline Stadium Saturday.
Beckley will now host George Washington Thursday for a berth in the state soccer tournament.
Ali Farghaly opened the scoring for Beckley before Kofi Ackon-Annan scored his first career varsity goal inside the final minute of the first half for a 2-0 lead.
Hagen Hall sealed the win with a pair of goals in the second half.
