Scott Brown Classic Girls Basketball Results

The 35th annual Scott Brown/Little General Stores All-star Basketball Classic was played Saturday at Shady Spring High School.

The AAAA-A All-stars won both games on the girls and the boys side.

In the girls contest, the Jan Care Ambulance AAAA-A all-stars led the majority of the game and pulled away late for a 77-65 win over the AAA-AA Chick-Fil-A all-stars.

Siya Smith from George Washington led the winners with 20 points and eight rebounds. Smith was named the game MVP as well.

Allie Daniels from AAAA state champion Spring Valley had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Kenzie Browning from Class A runner-up Tug Valley had 10 points.

Maggie Boroski from James Monroe led the AAA-AA squad with 17 points and eight rebounds. Mingo Central all-state selection, Addie Smith scored 16 points and also won the 3-point shootout prior to the contest.

Wyoming East all-stater Cadee Blackburn had 12 points and teammate Alivia Monroe hauled down 16 rebounds, 10 on the offensive glass. Riley Meadows from PikeView scored 11 points.
