Shady Spring standout Aiden Calvert signs with the University of Charleston Baseball

Shady Spring standout Aiden Calvert realized one of his baseball dreams Friday afternoon when he made his commitment to play college baseball for the University of Charleston.
Calvert was a three-year starter for the Tigers and played in the State Baseball Tournament two of his four years of high school.
During his senior season, Calvert hit .386 with 39 hits across 32 games and 29 RBI's. His junior campaign was shortened due to an ankle injury, but he still hit .282 with 19 RBI's. Calvert also had 19 RBI's as a sophomore.
The future Golden Eagle discussed signing with Charleston and his time at Shady Spring High School.
