Lindside - The Cavaliers jumped out to an 8-0 lead and never look back Thursday night to defeat the Mavericks 12-4.

Maddie Fields was 3-for-3 at the plate with three RBI and three runs scored. Fields ripped two triples and a home run in the win.

Brilee Redden collected two hits, including a home run, while Kyndall Taylor had two hits and drove in three runs. Brooklyn Adkins had two hits and two RBI for West (6-1).

Bryleigh Thomas had a triple and a home run for the Mavericks.

Liberty 16, Summers County 0 (3 innings)

Hinton - Liberty scored 10 runs in the second inning to cruise past Summers County 16-0 Thursday night.

McKinlea Hill had three hits, including a double and a triple, driving in two runs, while Maddie Cox and Stella Brown had two hits and two RBI each. Cox had a double. Brown had a double and a triple.

Katie Mullens hit a double and had two RBI. Alyssa Scarbro had 2 hits (double) and a RBI for Liberty.

Chapmanville 9, Wyoming East 1

Chapmanville - The Tigers scored four runs in the bottom of the first and went on to defeat Wyoming East 9-1, Thursday.

Peyton Lusk had a double and two RBI for the Tigers, while Chloe Murphy had three hits, including a double and one RBI.

Hannah Miller also had two hits and an RBI for Chapmanville.

Victoria Smith, Kendra Cook and Carlee Rollins each had a hit for the Warriors.

Woodrow Wilson 13, Oak Hill 4

The Flying Eagles scored 11 runs across the first two innings en route to a 13-4 win over sectional rival Oak Hill Thursday.

Aubree Smallwood had two hits, including a double and three RBI, while Shailee Sexton had three hits and two RBI.

Bailey Nickell collected two hits and also drove in two runs for the Flying Eagles.

Amy Hollandsworth had a double and two RBI for the Red Devils. K.K. Smith had two hits, including a double.
