Sports with Rusty - Rowdey's Locker Room Athlete of the Week

RUSTY AND ROWDEY'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

This year we are going to try something a little new.

We will also be naming an Athlete of the Week, exclusive of football to include golf, cross country, volleyball and soccer.

The award will be handed out each week based on the total number of votes for each player from the fans.

So, spread the word.

The link will appear on the Sports with Rusty Facebook page and will also be listed at Sportswithrusty.com

There will be some bumps along the way, but we will get the kinks worked out as we go.

The player with the most fan votes will receive a Sports with Rusty - Rowdey's Locker Room Hype Chain.

**A couple of notes**

The first poll covers play up to this past weekend since all of these sports started at various times.

Also, the stats used must come from the coaches, official stat people for the teams, or websites and apps where games and matches are listed.

Statistics will need to be sent by 11:59pm Sunday night each week.

The voting will close at 11:59pm Wednesday.
