
State LL Baseball Tournament: Central Greenbrier wins in dramatic fashion; Shady Spring falls
Dawson Holliday's single lifts Central Greenbrier past Martinsburg

Elkins - Saturday in the opening round of the West Virginia Little League Baseball Tournament, Central Greenbrier was down late.
However, the Greenbrier County boys were not out.
Trailing 7-5 going to the bottom of the sixth, Central Greenbrier scored two runs before an RBI-single with the bases loaded from Dawson Holliday in the bottom of the seventh inning sent his team home a winner.

Hendo Bostic set the table for the dramatic finish with a two-run homer in the sixth, continuing his postseason home run tear. Bostic was 3-for-3 on the day.
Trenton Skaggs, Zander Rodoussakis also had a hit and an RBI, while Cam Bechtel had two hits and drove in a run as well.
Five Central Greenbrier pitchers combined for 11 strikeouts in the win.
Central Greenbrier is scheduled to play Bridgeport today at 1:30 p.m.

Shady Spring dropped game one of the tournament, 11-6 to Winfield.
Carter Cooper ripped a two-run homer, while Cash Boggs had a double and two RBI. Grayson Walls had two hits including a triple.
Levi Pack and Lincoln Cook both added one RBI.
Shady Spring will plays Fringe LL in the elimination bracket today at 4:30 p.m.
