Wyoming East holds off Liberty

Glen Daniel - Wyoming East built a 6-0 lead and held on to defeat Liberty 7-4 Thursday night.

Jarred Phillips had a double and drove in three runs for the Warriors, while Gaige Cooper sent home two runs. Miken Smyth and Dylan Golden also had an RBI.

Jaeden Lester and Zach Hunt both hit a double. Hunt closed out the win pitching 2 2/3 innings of scoreless baseball with six strikeouts.

Chase Shea drove in two runs for the Raiders and Cameron Acord had a double.
